Harvest 2023

We had a good harvest this year and, as always, we would like to thank our wonderful volunteers for their hard work and stamina over the three pickings.  

The weather this summer proved challenging for our grapes, but we are happy with the quantity of fruit and the quality of the grapes.

We began by harvesting our early ripening Madeleine Angevine in good weather on  29th Sept., shortly followed by the Schönburger, where the grapes had turned their characteristically dark pink and purple.  

We wrapped up the 2023 harvest with the sparkling wine grapes, Auxerrois and Rulander (Pinot Gris), on Saturday 14th Oct. So, all in all, a good year for us and we can’t wait for the 2023 vintage to arrive in our cellars next spring.
