Double win at wine awards for Danebury!!

We are delighted to announce that Danebury Reserve 2018 has won the Gold Medal for best English still wine in the English wine category at the Sommelier Wine Awards, as well as the Best Wine by the Glass. 

This is a prestigious win for Danebury as it was selected from an impressive field of submissions from top English wine producers.  It is a great accolade for this small vineyard to win such an award.  Danebury wine are consistent medal winners, but this our first gold medal for our still wines. 

Our Gold Medal is a testament to the skill of our vineyard manager and his assistant caring for the vines and grapes, the talent of our winemaker and the great harvest of 2018. 

The Sommelier Wine Awards are judged by top sommeliers and Masters of Wine judging the wines not only on its quality, but its pertinence in a wine list.
